I'm asking, because I honestly don't know. What I DO know is that Jones was in his Exersaucer when I walked across the hall to make the bed. What's unclear is how he got FROM his Exersaucer to the crawling position you see very clearly pictured below:
Houston, we have a problem.
The problem is that, since we bought it, the Exersaucer has been my savior. I've taken baths and naps and time-outs, thanks to that thing. It was my Mother's Buddy, the extra hands I needed when mine were otherwise engaged. Now that Jones has figured out how to bounce himself out of it, I may never have ten minutes to myself again.
HELP!
I'd pin all of my hopes on the Moon-walker Mom gave him yesterday, but, ironically enough, as we looked at Jones in it last nite, I said to Jeremy, "You know, the way he's hanging over the edge, I don't think it'd take much for him to fall out head first." Little did we know, the Moon-walker was the LEAST of our worries!
To be honest, I'm glad Jones is ingenious (and strong!) enough to bust himself out of the clink. I'm even more glad he didn't bust his head open when he kamikazed out of that thing (instead, he was laughing, as he army-crawled towards me), but, from a completely selfish perspective, I'm slightly sad that one of life's little conveniences is becoming obsolete.
So, I guess THIS is when I officially become a "full-time" mom?
