Today, for instance, they got the parade into the sanctuary waving palm branches during the service. I wasn't sure how they'd do on their own, so I walked with them - but they did GREAT. Well, during the service, they did great. Waiting for their "cue" to go in was a little dicey, as they had to fight - unsuccessfully! - the urge to use their palms as swords.
Boys.
Until the preaching started, they stayed in "big church" with us. It was Freddie's first time, and all four of us squeezed into mine and Jeremy's little "love seat" on the piano side of the church. It's been "our" spot, since we started attending Arden Pres, back when sweet, sweet Jim and Sara Hart always sat right behind us.
Now that they boys are almost big enough to sit in the service, though, we're probably going to have to branch out. We are in desperate need of some more real estate.
Either that, or Mama and Daddy need to go on diets.
