Sleepyhead Fred

A giant heart-eye emoji is all I can think of when I see this picture of Sleepyhead Fred. He's so sweet, laying there under his great-grandfather's Delta Queen photo, holding the bear his brother bought him before he was even born.

Dear Papaw,

I wonder all the time how proud you'd be of this tiny guy, the one who shares not only your name but also your love of boats. He's an aggravator, too. Just ask Jones. And I bought those plaid sheets, because they looked like something Mayme'd have put on your bed. 

Yep. Little Fred is like you in more ways than we could've known when we chose to give him your name. 

I wish you were here to know him, but we will be sure he knows you.
