After church yesterday, I gave Jones an Oreo cookie in the car. He immediately put the ENTIRE COOKIE in his mouth, a feat he accomplished, I'm assuming, to be sure Brother didn't beg a bite. Clearly, all of my talk about sharing lately is really hitting home. Here's something else that was funny yesterday (again, remember how I hate potty talk): we were getting ready for devotions in Jones's room. Freddie was standing in the crib, and Jones was standing by the bookshelf. Freddie then released a series of ridiculously loud toots, which prompted Jones to look at his brother and laugh hysterically.
"What did he DO, Jones?!?" I asked.
Jones then stuck his tongue out and made his "zerbert" noise about six times.
Jeremy thinks the fact that I think this is funny proves that I think potty humor is funny, and that's not it AT ALL. What I think is funny is the fact that Jones, at only two years old, already thought it was funny.
They grow up so fast?
