Two years today!Today, it's been two years, since Jeremy took over, and the Vaught Agency became the Pressley Group. By the grace of God, this milestone comes just four days after we returned from Marco Island, Florida, where Jeremy was honored as being part of Allstate's Southeast Honor Ring.
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow for having His hand on this endeavor.
We decided to celebrate with dinner at Ruth's Chris in Biltmore Village. My parents and Payton joined us - they even brought Jeremy a surprise to hang in the office. It's a photo of Arnold Palmer taking his final golf stroke on Augusta National. They know Jeremy VERY well.
Randomly, as we waited for dinner, Freddie put a napkin over his head and his sunglasses over that. He was instantly "Mr. Napkin Head," mimicking a character who almost always visits during dinner with "Greenville Pop." Jones, of course, got in on the action, too.
Other celebrations planned include bringing lunch in for the staff on Monday - and, as an excuse to eat some icing myself, I'll probably bring by some kind of a cake.
Birthdays are the BEST.
