EGGS-cellent Evening

Tonite, the boys took their first stab at coloring Easter eggs.

They.had.a.BALL.

In fact, "ball" is a good word to use in describing how it all went down, because they primarily threw the eggs in the different bowls of food coloring very much like one might throw a ball. The result was eight eggs of surprisingly beautiful color whose shells were cracked in about six thousand places each. The cracked eggs led to one of the more fun parts of the whole experience, though - since we didn't want to keep a bunch of cracked eggs, we decided to see who could chuck them deeper into the vacant lot across the street from our house. We didn't do an exact job of keeping score, but I'm pretty sure Jeremy walked away the winner.

Congrats, Baby.

Before heading inside, Jones discovered a dandelion. "I found a flower," he said! "Want to see it?" He spread it and sniffed it, and then, when it was time to head in, he grabbed the door, and said, "I will hold the durr (door) for you!"

And it was just a really wonderful evening - that was followed by bath time and an episode of "Jake & the Neverland Pirates."

Two and three are turning out to be fabulously fun ages!
