Today was gorgeous. From just about the second he got up, Jones was wanting to go "si" (outside), so we did. We started off at Lake Junaluska Golf Course, and, after the boys' naps, we went to the playground at Meadowbrook Elementary School. It was the first time since he's been walking a lot that Freddie was at a park. That to say, it was really Freddie's first time to play at a park (except for baby swings and sliding with me holding him.
He took to it like a duck takes to water. In fact, last year, it took me all summer to get Jones comfortable going down a slide. Today, Freddie climbed up the ladder and walked straight to the slide, going down headfirst without pausing to think about it. He did it again and again.
Here's a video of one of those times. I don't know why in the world it's sideways. I took the video with Jeremy's phone, and I held it upright, but still, it's sideways. Go figure.
