Three Coins in a Fountain

Tonite, Jones's class performed as part of a fundraiser for HCA's Fine Arts Department. The elementary students kicked off the Italian-themed show called "Three Coins in a Fountain" by singing "Bella Notte" (from "Lady & the Tramp"). Their next number was a ditty Jones Pressley refers to as "On Top of Spaghetti, All Covered with Cheese."

Jones asked as he sat down with us after his performance, "Did I do a good job? Are you so proud of me?"

OF COURSE, I was.

The entire program was about 22 minutes, which is PRECISELY as long as I want to listen to other people's kids perform. It was awesome. After that, we took the party outside to a beautiful decorated part of the parking lot where the high school students served us Baked Ziti and Salad.

For the boys, the best part of the evening was when one of the teachers passed out fake mustaches. For me, the best part of the evening was watching Jeremy break every rule of his diet by eating SO.MUCH.BAKED.ZITI.

Truly, it was a "bella notte" with our baby boys at what they STILL call, nearly six weeks after starting there, their "new school."

a picture of the boys. OF COURSE, SHE CAN.

Mrs. Clackett sent Jones home with this
"Star Student" sticker today to conclude
his two weeks in the role.
He asked if he could put it by his Cat
sticker on my car, and OF COUSE, HE CAN.

The boys can hardly pass up
a dandelion without bringing it to me.
They usually offer to blow its petals
off for me, too, which is VERY helpful.
