Precious Moment

Jeremy stopped by around nap time to pick up some things before seeing the accountant about our taxes. Jones hadn't yet fallen asleep, so of course, he wanted his daddy to tuck him in. He put his hands on Jeremy's face in the most precious way, and though I didn't click quickly enough to capture that, this'll do.

Sucker for Shutterfly

Shutterfly has me right where they want me.

They say "Jump;" I say, "how high?" They say, "Free;" I say, "When's my deadline?"

The deadline on my latest freebie was yesterday. Hating to waste a free 8X8 book, I decided to make a book of Jones's Daily Instagrams. These are little square pictures I snap once a day with the intent of making a poster of all 365 pictures from his first year. Now - in addition to the poster, apparently - there will be a series of three books, each featuring four months of Instagrams.

Favorite

I've made no secret of the fact that, while I was pregnant, I prayed daily for three things:

1) that Jones would love God with all his heart, soul, and mind,
2) that Jones would be born with a headful of hair,
3) and that Jones would have Jeremy's ginormous eyes.

Though we don't yet know know what's in his heart, and his hair is definitely still in the "growing" stages, we can look at this shot of his big ole eyeballs and be reminded that God DOES answer prayer.

I love this picture more than everything on all my Pinterest boards combined.
